The Center for Cooperative Resolution, also known as the Office of the Ombudsman, is a neutral, independent resource that provides confidential and informal assistance to the ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ community in addressing lab and work-related issues.

The Executive Secretariat (ES), located within the Immediate Office of the Director, supports the ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ Director's and Principal Deputy Director's responsiveness, decision-making, meeting participation, and official records.

The ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ Ethics Office assists ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ staff to meet the requirements of the statutes and regulations governing behavior of employees of the Federal Government.

The Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) is the principal ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ Office responsible for ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ IT strategy, policy, and oversight to support ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ's mission as the Nation's steward of medical and behavioral research.

OFACP’s mission is to develop policy and to provide guidance and resources to the public, advisory committee members, the Congress, the President, and those managing Federal advisory committees at the ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ, HHS, and other Federal agencies. As a leader in the advisory committee management community of the Federal Government, OFACP is committed to supporting the ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ mission by managing and promoting the highest quality administration of the laws, regulations, and policies governing Federal advisory committees.
