The Office of the Principal Deputy Director, officially the Immediate Office of the Director (IMOD), led by ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ Principal Deputy Director, manages the day-to-day operations for the Office of the Director.  IMOD responsibilities include central oversight on ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ activities in research funding, management, administration, and information technology. IMOD coordinates a number of trans-¾«¶«Ó°Òµ efforts across the ¾«¶«Ó°Òµâ€™s 27 Institutes and Centers.
